Where things stand with US Bank Altitude Reserve and points transfers

As of June 2026, US Bank does not offer airline or hotel transfer partners on any of its credit cards — including the Altitude Reserve, Altitude Connect, Altitude Go, and Smartly Visa Signature.

What happened to US Bank Altitude Reserve

October 2024: The Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite was closed to new applicants. Existing cardholders kept the card.
August 2025: US Bank announced that transfer partners were "coming soon" to Altitude Reserve as part of a broader rewards refresh.
December 15, 2025: The signature 1.5¢-per-point Real-Time Rewards travel redemption was reduced to 1¢ per point — a 33% devaluation.
2026: Despite the 2025 announcement, no transfer partners have launched. The promised partner list has not been published, and US Bank has not committed to a launch date.

• Redeem at 1¢ per point for travel via Real-Time Rewards (down from 1.5¢)
• Redeem at 1¢ per point for cash back / statement credit
• Book travel through the US Bank Rewards Center

A note on previous versions of this page

Earlier versions of this page listed several airlines (Air Canada, Avianca LifeMiles, British Airways, Emirates, Turkish Airlines, Virgin Atlantic) as US Bank transfer partners. That was incorrect. US Bank has never publicly named any of those programs as transfer partners, and at the time of writing no partners exist at any ratio on any US Bank product. We will update this page when US Bank launches its promised transfer partner program.
