Bank of America Transfer Partners: Status Update (2026)

Where things stand with BoA Premium Rewards and points transfers

Bank of America does not offer transfer partners

As of June 2026, Bank of America has no airline or hotel transfer partners on any of its credit cards — including Premium Rewards, Premium Rewards Elite, Travel Rewards, and Customized Cash Rewards. BoA is not a transferable-points issuer.

How Bank of America Premium Rewards points actually work

Bank of America earns points are a fixed-value currency. They do not transfer to airline or hotel programs. Your redemption options are:

  • Cash back at 1¢ per point as a statement credit
  • Direct deposit to a Bank of America checking, savings, or Merrill account (including 529 plans)
  • Travel booked through the Bank of America Travel Center at 1¢ per point
  • Gift cards
  • Premium Rewards Elite cardholders get a 20% airfare discount when redeeming via the Travel Center
  • Preferred Rewards tier members earn up to 75% more base points

Coming in the future?

On April 21, 2026, Alaska Air Group and Bank of America announced an expanded long-standing co-brand credit card partnership, with BoA positioned to be the sole issuer of Atmos Rewards co-brand cards. The points community has speculated this could eventually lead to BoA becoming a transfer partner with Atmos Rewards — but no transfer partnership has been announced or launched. We will update this page if that changes.

A note on previous versions of this page

Earlier versions of this page listed seven airlines and Choice Privileges as Bank of America transfer partners. That was incorrect. Bank of America has never offered transferable points on Premium Rewards or any other consumer card. We've updated this page to reflect reality and we'll revise it if BoA introduces transfer partners in the future.
